Guillermo Coronado Aguilar, an accomplished Mexican attorney and international legal scholar, specializing in international law and dispute resolution.

He is a Mexican attorney, arbitrator, and international legal scholar who specializes in international law and international dispute resolution. Presidential Scholar at the University of Hong Kong, researching financial compensation through case study methods applying process-tracing and cross-case analysis. Distinguished teaching experience at Tecnologico de Monterrey, with recognition as the best Cathedra professor in 2018. Published author with contributions to academic journals and books focused on international arbitration, international law, and history. Former co-editor-in-chief of the Vindobona Journal of International Commercial Law and Arbitration. His academic experience spans Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia, providing him with a truly global perspective.

Guillermo has acted as arbitrator under Centro de Arbitraje Mexico (CAM) rules and as counsel under ICC rules involving Mexican and international parties. He acted as the regional representative for Latin America (2013-2015) of the Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG), the initiative of young arbitrators from the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). He also served as the representative for the ICC-YAF Mexico in Jalisco from 2016 to 2018.
